Launch aftermath & BLOG CANDY

What a fun afternoon - thanks to all the lovely ladies who attended. We had a great time chatting, making cards, eating the yummy scones that Lisa & Fay brought (thanks girls) & hopefully everyone learned something new also.

This is the first Make & Take that everyone got to make. As per most of my cards it is CASEd - I found this one on Splitcoast Stampers (see the link on the side). It uses one of my favourite new stamp sets - Baroque Motifs, I just love the swirl!
Here is abit of a close up of the centre flower. It has been inked up in Groovy Guava ink then the edges rolled in Really Rust ink before being stamped. See the cute brad in the centre - it is just a silver one with a mini glue dot poped on the end & then dipped in glitter, this is such an easy way to add some bling.

Stampsets: Baroque Motifs
Cardstock: Whisper White
Inks: River Rock, Groovy Guava, Really Rust
Accessories: Silver Brad, Mini Glue Dots, Dazzling Diamons Glitter, Crystal Effects

This is the second Make & Take - & yep, it's another CASE. This time from the clever Tracey ,who I was lucky enough to meet at Convention & receive a swap from. All the colours used are from the new In-colours - don't they look fantastic, I'm loving them!

Stampsets: Oh So Lovely, Boho Backgrounds, So Many Sayings
Cardstock: Blue Bayou, Groovy Guava, Purely Pomegranite, Watercolour Paper
Inks: Groovy Guava, Blue Bayou, Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranite
Accessories: Blue Bayou Double Stitched Ribbon, Aquapainter, Word Window Punch, Dimensionals

Now for the BLOG CANDY. Above is a triangle box & ribbon sample that everyone who attended received & I have afew left over. If you would like to win one, simply leave me a comment on this post, or send me an email - alana@aussiebroadband.com.au. The kids will draw a couple of winners out, probably on the weekend.

Yesterday we finally made the kids a sandpit (we've only lived here for 3 years *rolling eyes*) they had such a great time playing in it & digging tunnels etc, though I'm sure 1/2 of the sand has already been either tipped out or brought inside!!

What absolutly gorgeous cards! love the colours used - yes I love this year's new in-colours.
Ps: Our kids still haven't got their sandpit re-built after their fort got moved! Our youngest (now 8) has given up waiting!
